Ashish Khisti is an associate professor and a Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE)Ìýdepartment at the University of Toronto, Toronto,ÌýOntario Canada. He received his BASc degree in Engineering Sciences from University of Toronto andÌýhis S.M and Ph.D. Degrees from the MassachusettsÌýInstitute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA,ÌýUSA. His research interests span the areas of information theory, wireless physical layer security andÌýstreaming in multimedia communication systems.ÌýAt the University of Toronto, he heads the signals,Ìýmultimedia and security laboratory. For his graduate studies he was a recipientÌýof the NSERC postgraduate fellowship, HP/MIT alliance fellowship, HaroldÌýH. Hazen Teaching award and the Morris Joseph Levin Masterworks award.
