Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position to work on quantum privacy for private information retrieval and secure multiparty computing in the Department of Engineering, King’s College London.

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position in the field of quantum privacy. We seek highly talented and motivated researchers to join the exciting quantum networks integration project within the platform driving the ultimate connectivity (TITAN) research hub funded by the EPSRC.

The successful candidate will work on advanced topics on quantum distributed computing with applications to communication-efficient private information retrieval and secure multiparty computing. The successful candidate will have an extensive research foundation and expertise in quantum information science, quantum computing and coding.Ìý

The position will be based in the Department of Engineering, King’s College London on the Strand Campus in the heart of central London.Ìý

Requirements:

A PhD inÌýa closely related field to quantum information science with a focus on quantum privacy or Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering with strong research background on quantum privacy demonstrated by publications in leading journals and conferences.
