Workshop on Coding Theory and Algorithms for DNA-based Data Storage (ISIT2024 Satellite Workshop)
We are excited to announce the first ISIT Satellite Workshop on Coding Theory and Algorithms for DNA-based Data Storage. The workshop takes place within ISIT on Sunday, July 7, 2024, in Athens, Greece.
This interdisciplinary workshop is organized jointly between academia and industry. It serves as a platform for exchanging ideas within and across communities.
Topics of interest include several aspects of DNA-focused error-correcting codes and sequence reconstruction, emerging sequencing technologies, information aspects of synthetic biology, and machine learning approaches to DNA-based storage systems.
The workshop features a rich collection of invited and contributed talks. The invited speakers are Daniel Bedau (Western Digital) and James Diggans (Twist Bioscience) from industry, and Robert Grass (ETH Zurich), Olgica Milenkovic (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign), and Zohar Yakhini (Technion / Reichman University) from academia, working on the topics of chemistry, biology, coding and information theory, and bioinformatics.
We look forward to your participation. If you would like to contribute a talk or a poster, please submit an abstract of at most 300 words via our portal: .
