The position is available almost immediately (subject to necessary paperwork), and could last until 31 December 2022. The ideal candidate will have strength in one or more of the following areas:
- algebraic/combinatorial coding theory;
- coding techniques/coded modulations/practical LDPC and LDPC-like codes;
- coding for distributed data storage/PIR/load balancing;
- code-based crypto.
