The successful candidate will sustain his/her own research program and complement the current research and educational efforts in the ECpE department through interdisciplinary collaboration. S/He will teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, advise both graduate and undergraduate students, generate a scholarly publication record, and participate in technical committees and outreach activities.
Candidates should have strong communication skills and contribute to the mission of the ECpE department.
Candidates must hold an earned Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field on or before the hire date; must have demonstrated potential to excel in the classroom and to establish and maintain a productive externally funded research program; and must have demonstrated interest to pursue interdisciplinary research. Candidates for the ranks of Associate or Full Professor will also demonstrate an excellent record of funded research and internationally recognized scholarship.
